Le Verzure's 'Naturalmente Rosso' is made from Sangiovese grapes vinified in amphorae with brief maceration on the skins. As is traditional for this iconic artisan winery in the Siena area, fermentation is spontaneous and the watchword is 'freshness'. The nose reveals currants, blackberries and fragrant hints of violets, while the palate is soft but decisive, supported by taut tannins and a fresh balance. Perfect with red meats, it is at its best with pici pasta and Cinta Senese ragù
